  • $400 - Includes all training sessions and program gear. Tournaments and events have separate and additional costs. Registration and payment for these are done with the organizing group/association. Wolfpack hosted events will be discounted at 50%.
  • The 2025 Wolfpack Youth Beach Volleyball: COMPETITIVE TEAM PROGRAM is is open to any gender and is built for athletes who are passionate about performance and hungry to compete at a high level. This is not a casual or recreational program — it's for dedicated volleyball players ready to train with intensity and purpose all summer long.
  • Weekly 1.25 hr training on Tuesdays & Thursdays - range from 300pm-800pm
  • Opportunities for additional training may occur on Tuesdays 1000am-1200pm or some Saturdays times tbd)
  • ***Limited number of teams. It is strongly encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment. Once the number of teams has been reached, we will not be able to offer additional placements.

  • 2025 Youth Volleyball Grass & Beach training Combo Program - Grass & Beach Volleyball train/Play
  • Wednesdays - June 25 - August 13, 2025
  • $130 for the 8 week season.
  • Our 2025 Youth Volleyball Grass & Beach training Combo Program is open to all genders and will incorporate beach development with some grass volleyball(much closer to indoor). It is designed to be a train and play environment and open to any and all levels of play. Groups may be formed with athletes of comparable skill or volleyball level with the ability to move between groups based on developments. This is an excellent opportunity to start your journey in the sport of volleyball, or continue to develop and prepare for an upcoming school season.
  • Weekly 1.25hr training on Wednesdays - range from 300pm-800pm
  • Beach training is run from Don Christian Park - 6231 186 St, Surrey, BC(parking lot is located off of 184th St)
  • Grass training is run from Don Christian Park(TBC), or Unwin Park - 13313 68 Ave, Surrey, BC

  • Grass tournaments will be run as either Standard(same gender) or Reverse(Male/Female) teams in either a 2s or 4s format - TBD
  • Events are run typically with a 900am first match start and concluded by 600pm

2025 VOLLEYFUSION Grass Volleyball Tournaments

 

WHO:

VolleyFusion is open to both boys and girls ages 8-18+ who have had previous competitive Club Volleyball experience. Teams can compete with 4 athletes on the court, but may be formed with 6 competitors - allowing for subs and families who may take time over the summer for vacations.

  • Teams can be a combination of ages ranging from 8 year olds but including athletes who may be 18+.
  • Teams must compete in a division of the oldest athlete on the team.

WHAT:

VolleyFusion is a modified form of 4vs4/2vs2 played on grass volleyball courts. 

  • Teams of 4 can be made up of Boys, Girls, or a combination of Boys & Girls.
  • Courts will be 8m by 8m(Beach court sized) for 2v2, and 9m by 9m for 4v4 with an attack line at 3m(like indoors).
  • Games will be scored like indoors with a point awarded at the end of every serve.
  • Matches will be 2 sets to 21 capped at 23.
  • Teams will switch sides after each set.
  • No antennae will be used. All balls played over the net are in play as long as the ball passes between the poles and lands within the court boundaries.
  • The net height will be set at 2.24m(the same as indoor women’s net height).

What makes it FUSION:

Teams can be made up of 4 girls, 4 boys, or any combination of 4 boys & girls.

GIRLS

  • Girls are able to play “regular” volleyball
  • Girls are permitted to attack in front of the attack line if desired.
  • Girls are permitted to “Block” Girls or Boys.

BOYS

  • Boys must play “Reverse” rules volleyball.
  • Boys are only permitted to attack from behind the attack line. They are permitted to jump from behind the attack line, contact the ball while in the air, and then land in the front court.
  • **U13Boys and under are allowed to attack and block in front of the attack line as if playing the girls rules due to net height.
  • A ball played across the net by a boy must travel at least one attack line. 
    • A boy playing a ball from behind their own attack line could place the ball in the front or back court of the opposing team.
    • A boy playing a ball from in front of their own attack line must propel the ball in an upward trajectory AND the ball must travel beyond the opposing team's attack line before landing.
  • Boys are only permitted to “Block” Boys. Boys are NOT permitted to “BLOCK” girls, this includes any attempt to make contact with a ball “ABOVE the height of the net '' that is sent over the net by an opposing girl regardless of how the ball is sent over the net.
  • Boys are able to block boys at any time.
  • If a Boy plays a ball in front of the attack line, the trajectory of the ball must be UPWARDS first prior to descending - AND - must travel past the opponents attack line to be considered a legal hit.

TYPES OF LEGAL CONTACTS

  • Attacks by either boy or girl must be a clean contact.
  • Balls are NOT permitted to be played across the net to the opposing team with the use the fingertips of only one hand(TIP)
  • A ball played across the net by a boy must travel at least one attack line. 
    • A boy playing a ball from behind their own attack line could place the ball in the front or back court of the opposing team.
    • A boy playing a ball from in front of their own attack line must propel the ball in an upward trajectory AND the ball must travel beyond the opposing teams attack line before landing.
  • BLOCKS - A legal block is a deflection of a ball that the attacking team sends over the net that makes contact with the defending team above the height of the net, and cannot be guided or directed with the use of hands or fingertips. 
    • A Block is a simple DEFLECTION/REBOUND of the ball. The ball may not be held or guided in any manner.
    • A Block is NOT counted as a touch for the defending team.
    • Girls are able to block Boys or Girls regardless of a front or back row attack.
    • Boys are only allowed to Block a ball sent over by an offensive Boy. Boys are not permitted to Block a ball sent over by an offensive girl.
  • ATTACKS - Any ball sent over by the offensive team towards the defending team is considered an attack.
    • An Attack is any contact of the ball that is sent towards the defending team’s court. This includes a Bump, a Set, or a Spike.
    • A ball sent over the net by the offensive team towards the defending team’s court with the use of the fingertips of only one hand(Tip) is a FAULT.
    • A ball played across the net by a boy must travel at least one attack line. 
      • A boy playing a ball from behind their own attack line could place the ball in the front or back court of the opposing team.
      • A boy playing a ball from in front of their own attack line must propel the ball in an upward trajectory AND the ball must travel beyond the opposing teams attack line before landing.
    • A ball sent over the net by the offensive team towards the defensive team can be played with the use of two hands and fingertips(Set), however:
      • The ball being sent over by the offensive player with the use of a set, MUST travel perpendicular to the offensive players shoulders. A ball set over that does not travel perpendicular to the offensive player's shoulders is a fault.
    • Any ball sent over the net by the offensive team towards the defensive teams court on the FIRST contact MUST travel one attack line. 
      • If the first ball is played from behind the attack line of the offensive team's attack line, it may land in the front or back court of the defending team.
      • If the first ball is played from in front of the attack line of the offensive team's attack line, it must travel beyond the defending team's attack line or it is considered a fault.

The VolleyFusion Grass Tournaments/Training will be run from Unwin Park - 13313 68 Ave, Surrey, BC

WHY:
The intent of VolleyFusion is to build on the competitive Indoor Club season encouraging participation of Boys and Girls in the sport of Volleyball while creating a competitive format that allows Boys and Girls to compete together or against each other. Clubs are able to provide their own summer programming while having VolleyFusion be a means of providing competitions for their training.

COST:
Cost of VolleyFusion Grass tournaments are $30/athlete per team
